Condensed Labor
Any economist should know what “Condensed Labor” is. For the rest of us it’s not a well-known concept. Simply put, C.L. is money. To get money we usually work for it, and the paycheck or money we receive for that work is actually “condensed labor”. That C.L. in a real sense is our life because it takes time & sweat, tears, etc. to exchange for the green stuff. It can honestly be said that young folks (or anyone) who wastes their money are wasting their life. It’s sad to see the carnie or young soldier throw money from their hand as soon as they get it. They should put it in land, building, tools & equipment, transportation, etc. (capitol assets), especially in a free country, because that is a basic meaning of freedom. Of course, some hard-earned money/C.L. should go in the BANK.
Now if God is the creator, (not a big bang or evolution process) then according to the first pages of the Bible we see six days of creation (labor), then a day of rest. According to scripture God is a person, so what would be His paycheck? It would be hard to hand the creator of life & the earth, & the universe a big bag of money. We have to figure that He just holds title to all that is seen with the human eye. The stars & sky at night, then all forms of plant & animal & marine life in daytime. It’s all His:
-- Job 41:11 “Who has given to me, that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.”
-- Psalms 50:10-12 “For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the air, and all that moves in the field is mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world and all that is in it is mine.”
-- Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sins shall die.”
But what would God’s “money” be, if we could reduce it all down to the basics? I believe YOU should look in the mirror. That human looking back at you is the highest form of all creation, and the reason it was all created. Look at Genesis 1:26-30. People are God’s "money". This analogy makes more sense when we look at the Incarnation of Christ, and consider that He came here (at great labor & cost, see link 7) to redeem us from sin, so we can be put in the eternal BANK – heaven. “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 I suppose God also invests in capital assets – land, buildings, equipment, etc. That would be the physical church buildings, church schools & hospitals around the world, etc... But the “money”, or best “condensed labor” is people – SOULS.
The appeal of this Gospel-note is just this. Are you blocking God from putting His hard earned “money” in the “BANK”?? Is your pride, ego, intellect, etc. holding you back from accepting Christ & that salvation package? If so, you not only frustrate a hard-working Creator & steal His “money”, but you also cheat your own self out of Divine blessings here on planet earth, AND your share of what that “bank” in the sky is all about. For a glimpse of it see John 14:1-7 and Revelation 21:1-5. The Bible is AWESOME for showing these truths, and tons of others. . . Choose Jesus, He is Alive. See also link 125, “Only God Could Make”.
