Only God Could Make
Man has made a lot of amazing things. Gadgets & machines of all sizes. The airplane he invented even flies. This G-note was written at 40 thousand feet in a Singapore heavy. Then the computer that man has invented almost thinks. But for thousands of years there are things, "Only God Could Make":
-- the tree - comes from a small seed & grows to great size with large & small branches in all
directions.
-- the natural bird - comes from an egg then lives & flies. Produces eggs that hatch the same kind of chick for the next generation.
-- the fish - all kinds & sizes that again come from an egg that lies in the mud incubating for a specific time under water.
-- the human eye or ear - any doctor will admit they are amazing.
-- a baby animal - (or human of course) The intricate detail and cuteness is the handiwork of a capable & proud Almighty designer.
-- the flower - does anyone really believe the flower made itself? See Psalm 14:1
-- the Bible of history - written over a period of 1500 years or more by some 40 different authors; yet has a consistent theme from cover to cover.
Now it just knocks me out how hard people work to deny the Divine creation of the tree, bird, fish, human eye, etc., then give the credit to chance - like the Webster's unabridged dictionary is the product of an explosion in a printing shop. It's almost like the human mind is desperate to avoid dealing with a Biblical & legitimate creator. Man also appears desperate to avoid the plain & simple Gospel of Jesus. I have even known Protestant & Catholic clergy people who weasel to the right & to the left in their beautiful liberalness at the Divine claims of Jesus Christ . . . I am reminded of the words of the dying witch in the famous 1939 MGM movie "The Wizard of Oz" - "Oh my Beautiful wickedness" as she melted into the ground. Consider the words of Christ, ". . . you will die in your sins (melt into the ground) unless you believe that I am He." John 8:24
Well, the short intro of this G-note only touches a few things man has made. He has also made lots of religions which suggest a path to God, BUT man would never invent the Biblical system - "God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes on Him should not die, but have eternal life." John 3:16 and "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31 God invented that system of salvation BECAUSE "Only God Could Make" perfection. And for those of us who just take God at His word & try that Gospel plan - it shines "brighter & brighter until full day." Proverbs 4:18 I personally began considering Christ's Gospel 47years ago & am still amazed by an Almighty Jesus, Revelation 1:8 & his salvation benefits. (See also "What's In It For Me" link 28)
To conclude this G-note I'd just say, "Only God Could Make" the Incarnation & Gospel of Christ, AND an appeal to faith like we find in the final few pages of the Book - "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him and he with me." Revelation 3:20. Choose Jesus and His salvation. They are Alive. See also link 97 "Was Jesus God?"
